The crap windsurf sessions just keep on coming:( I have missed a couple of breezy but chilly foils this month already due to yet another chesty cough/cold my second in a month so I was keen to get out on the water today even if the forecast was only marginal but fairly mild! I headed over to Levington Marina first and had to park away from the launch spot again, Levington is not very inviting at the moment being muddy, a bit of a walk and some crap winds! I was not the only one hoping for more as I was joined by half a dozen wingers who all had a poor session like me but at least it did not rain! There was just enough gusts to tempt me onto the water with my 6.5 but it was a complere waste of time and only got flying on one run. I stayed way too long just floundering up and down hoping the wind would pick up, in fact it went the other way, I was pleased to call it a day and the hot shower was the best bit. A home the day improved vastly as the lovely Maeva and her Mum were round for a visit, she is also pooply with a chest infection but the medicine bucks her up and had been having fun with Mag making decorations for our stairs:) Loads of wind coming tomorrow as Storm Bram passes, I will probably try again if not too windy and wet!
